Pain can be inevitable. Maybe you have hurt from a relationship, experienced trauma, are battling addiction, or are struggling with your sense of purpose. Maybe you struggle with low self-esteem, body image , anxiety, or depression. Maybe you feel stuck.

Choosing to be vulnerable by telling your story and having the courage to write new chapters may be the most courageous thing you ever do. It may also be the very thing that helps you find the help and healing you’re looking for.

Lauren earned her Masters Degree in Counselor Education at the University of Toledo with a focus in clinical mental health. She works with adolescents, adults, and couples. She is trained in Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy and Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also working toward certification in EMDR.

Lauren helps guide clients to develop personal awareness and insight, create healthy boundaries in relationships, identify triggers, break cycles, and develop coping strategies to manage and overcome difficult emotions. She has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, self -injuries, chemical dependency, and mood disorders.

Lauren considers herself to be a client- centered therapist and values the importance of collaboration to work towards therapeutic goals. She is passionate about helping clients find healing and empowering them to make positive changes in their life. Her therapy style is empathetic, honest, and interactive using a holistic approach. During sessions, her focus is to help guide you while working together as a team.
